A Mother's Legacy
Weekly ArticleMark Twain once said, "My mother had a great deal of trouble with me, but I think she enjoyed it." This Mother's Day we celebrate the women in our lives to whom we owe so much. There is no way we can adequately thank our mothers for all they have done for us, or as Mark Twain implied, what they put up with to bring us from childhood to where we are today.

This Mother's Day we can honor Mom in a way more meaningful than flowers, a phone call, or even a nice dinner out. Those are all fine, but there is one thing we can do to make this day, and every day, extra-special for her.

This Mother's Day, make it a point to take a moment to meet with your attorney and draft your will or revise it. Your will is your legacy, and your legacy is, after all, hers too. If you are fortunate that your mom is still with you, tell her you have drafted your plans to make sure all the values she taught you have survived and will survive into the coming generations. If you want to make it extra special, include a charitable gift in your plans to our mission - in honor or in memory of your mom.

We can help you honor your mother by helping you create a legacy. Please click on the links on this website or call us for more information. Your mother will be pleased when you affirm again that her values live in you. Then take your mom out to eat and bring her some flowers. Happy Mother's Day!
